EMPLOYMENT SERVICES:
The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission will refer potential employees
for your firm's job openings-part-time, full-time, temporary and permanent.
UNEMPLOYMENT SERVICES:
Provides assistance to workers who lose their jobs through no fault of their
own.
EMPLOYMENT TRAINING:
Offers several programs for targeted groups such as dislocated workers from
plants that have closed.
RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS:
Provides you with information on wage rates, the labor pool availability,
worker productivity, employment trends and so on, that may be needed for your
hiring plans or pay schedules.
EMPLOYER ADVISORY COUNCIL:
Offers monthly seminars concerning employer interests such as incentives to
hire targeted groups, workers compensation, OSHA, Family Medical Leave Act,
American Disability Act, employee training and other administrative and personal
issues.
DISMISSAL OF EMPLOYEES:
When you dismiss an employee, you will need to contact the Oklahoma
Employment agency. This will help with unemployment compensation. You also need
to do an exit interview, with the employee signing the document and have it
notarized.
